Our quality and measurement team in Pune (India) wins the global ZEISS Measirunghero award.

Great news from our quality team in India, who once more is getting renowned for their competences in handling most critical tolerances and specifications.

The leader of measurement equipment ZEISS has launched once more their global competition Measuringhero, where experts from 28 countries showed their challenging projects and the global winners of the prestigious award are crowned.

Our colleague Satish Hake and his team participated and after already winning the Measurement Expert Award in India in the category of the smallest part, they also succeeded on the big stage and brought home the first place in the category Efficient Measurement – Individual Component.

The official statement from Zeiss:


With 450 data points, 65 features, a volume of 700 mm³ and a measurement time of only 190 seconds, Satish Hake from Helvoet Rubber & Plastics Technologies (India) Pvt. Limited has successfully managed to achieve the highest efficient measurement score. He measured an ABS system component that is responsible for fluid passing and maintaining brake functions. Using his two ZEISS CONTURAs, he obtained results with a reproducibility of less than 0.30 microns, proving his skills as a #measuringhero.
