Hybrid products Helvoet has co-developed several hybrid products and has a unique setup which enables to produce different materials all in-house and deliver everything out of one hand. This is achieved by over-moulding of a plastic part with with a custom-made rubber compound which bonds directly to the plastic.

Microfluidics A microfluidic chip can be considered a mini-laboratory and is certainly the future for point-of-care diagnostics and other applications. Helvoet offers polymer microfluidic components of highest quality.
Fuel Pump Housings Helvoet is the world's only supplier of phenolic housings machined with Pocket Grinding and single-slides grinding equipment. Component quantities are nearing 500 million since the first products rolled off the line in 1999.

Vacuum Connector Mostly vehicles with diesel engines are executed with auxiliary vacuum pumps where a vacuum connector ensures that depression remains in the system at all times. With our own flexline assembly technology we offer a large variety of 100% tested vacuum connectors with check valves.

SCR Pump The SCR pump in thermoset is a typical example of substitution from metal to plastic. It is used to reduce the NOX for diesel engines and has to withstand urea (Ad Blue) for its function.

Stator air-conditioning unit The insulation mask products form the stator of an air-conditioning unit and are manufactured by injection molding of BMC (Bulk Molding Compound). Because of the light weight, high strength and high resistance to creep, BMC forms an excellent material for this application.

Rotor for radar system As metal replacement product a pvd coated drum is used in the automotive Advanced Emergency Braking Systems (radar system). Precise tolerances and specific reflection properties are required for this high safety part made of thermoset.

Piston for brake system This thermoset secondary piston is part of the TMC (Tandem Master Cylinder) brake system in automotive. It's a high security part with specific requirements on strength (450bar) and roughness tolerances over lifetime achieved by grinding.
